Missionary Training Center- Week 6
This past week, my district sat in circle and everyone shared their testimony and why they are here. It was a sober moment and the presence of the Holy Ghost was strong. It was what you would expect of a district on their final week in the MTC. Well, final week for everyone except me of course. Still waiting to hear what I will have the opportunity to do for 10 days on my own. Everyone in my district has gotten their flight plans except me. They are gone this coming August 19 and I head out the 28th. Not sure where they are going to put me for 9-10 days as far as companion and class and whether or not I do TRCs or what room I sleep in, but it'll be fun!
The temple open this week and the devotional last night was all about the temple, so I won't be surprised if they just let me walk across the street and go to the temple everyday because putting me with another Chinese district would be weird because they're only just starting.
Anyways,
Our district leader challenged us to share what we said in our emails home, so I will endeavor to do as such.
I'm here because I love God. I had desires to serve Him and so I was called to His work. This is His glory. I have felt to sing the song of redeeming love and so I intent to invite others to come and join the choir, feel the love, and understand why they can rejoice in the name of Jesus Christ. I know the worth of every soul is great in the sight of God, for I have witnessed it in my life, the lives of my family, and the life of my dear friend Eric. I do not have any more to say on the matter, for these reasons are sufficient for me, and my joy is full. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
