Riverside/Dows Lake- Week 1

Ottawa is much more quiet, and so is my new companion Elder Wu. He went to one semester at BYU, high school in California, and grew up in Taiwan. He is very nice and patient so he's cool. He wears his coat everywhere because he is not used to the cold at all.

We sorta cover two wards which makes Sundays really long. It's fun to be in YSA though!

That picture is from the YSA FHE activity yesterday, we had to build a tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows to hold up a pumpkin (we thought) but then it turned out to be just a felt pumpkin. It was a competition to see who could build the tallest tower that could hold the pumpkin since we thought it has a real pumpkin we made it really sturdy but not too tall thinking the other towers would get crushed.

We went to an Asian store for grocery shopping and my companion likes to have his companions try all sorts of things so it's been fun so far.

We've been some door knocking which is the first time I've done that on my mission. In Montreal, we always just rode the metro to find people. People are generally pretty nice, like strangely nice, the Canadian stereotype is true, however, they still just very politely say they're not interested.
