Riverside/ Dows Lake Week 11

Probably the most disappointing thing was that the Jewish guy did not come to church. I wish he came, and that he took church more seriously. He has been investigating for over a year.

I miss pizza, it has been a while, so maybe I'll go buy some today.

Also, gave a blessing for the first time this week too. Our ward mission leader was sick and asked for one.

This week we taught someone new twice and he has been to church twice now too and making friends with the members really well. The only problem is that he speaks Spanish. Our ward mission leader was doing the translation for us but he moved away on Monday. We found another member to help us so it should be good. But anyways, this guy is just 19 years old like me and he loves to run like me and he's from Peru and has been in Canada for about three months. It's a interesting story how we met him, like my first week in Ottawa we met him on the street and gave him a card to come to English class and then the Spanish/French elders happened to knock his home and then they referred him to us and then we went and knocked one time and he wasn't home but we talked to his grandfather who turned out to be member from when he lived in South America! We then knocked again a few weeks later and he was home and came to church and then we met with him twice with our ward mission leader and two other Spanish speaking members from our ward and we are meeting with him again on Saturday.

Also had two lessons this week with someone else new who is progressing pretty well too.

So really just to say it has be pleasantly more busier than some other weeks in the past. But still no one to teach in Chinese.

We had lunch at Ikea today.
