Riverside/ Dows Lake- Week 22

We had a video lesson on Sunday. It has been the only one since the quarantine. The guy is really cool, he read the restoration pamphlet through and said it really helped him especially in knowing how to pray. We also dropped off a picture Book of Mormon at his house because he said the reading was a little hard for him. We also sent him the Book of Mormon video links and Meet the Mormons.

We are still in contact with the this guy but it's always a tricky situation with him. He has been trying to call elders that taught him in the past instead of talking to us.The other Elders can message him, but according to the handbook, they should not be calling him or teaching him. Personally, I did not think it a big deal and thought maybe the other Elders would do a better job of teaching him anyways. But one thing led to another and I found myself calling these other Elders to remind them of the rules. It was a really uncomfortable thing to do and I did not like it.

Also have been doing a ton of indexing. As a companionship, we are getting close to having indexed a 1000 names. Elder Hsu has done about 600 names and I have done about 300, but that is only because I was doing records done in cursive and his were typed.

Facebook finding is pretty rough. Apparently, teaching numbers are going up with the virus, but hasn't been the case for us yet. Hopefully, that will change this week

A cool experience happened to another set of Elders in our mission.  They had a person scheduled for baptism and out of the blue the guys called the Elders and said, "I want to be baptized tomorrow and not wait until next week."  The Elders were like okay and made all the arrangements.  The very next day after his baptism, the announcement was made concerning baptisms.  It was really cool to see the Lord's Hand.
