Mission Office/Montreal- Week 10
I mentioned my leg was hurting last week, so this week I found a pair of running shoes in missionary clothing bank and they work great. This week I also made pizza pasta again and shared it with everyone in the office.
The third picture is Elder Brown and I sleeping on the balcony of our apartment on memory foam.
Someone called the office this week and Elder Nipko picked up. The person introduced himself as an inactive member of the church who had not attended for years. The reason for his call, he explained, was that over years he bit by bit shared the gospel with his friend who is not a member. The man then announced that his friend wanted to be baptized on July 2nd and he himself would also come back into full activity in the church. Elder Nipko then found what area they were calling from and referred them to the corresponding missionaries. I thought that was a pretty neat event.
Thank you so much to Dad for doing the violin video. He sounds so good and made me nostalgic for violin. What started this whole thing was a spiritual thought I shared in our office meetingabout being a good example. I explained that I never enjoyed practicing violin in the repetitious way my teachers told me to until I heard my father practicing in that way. In the same way, Christ set the example for us even for things we might feel are redundant. So, Happy Happy Fathers Day to my great example for life! Love you Dad!
After hearing this thought, President Low told me I had to make a violin video for the Facebook page.
