Mission Office/Montreal- Week 16
Lots happened this week. The most important thing to me that happened was my companion Elder Brown and I met with someone we are teaching at the chapel and gave them a tour of the building. We were all wearing masks of course. It was the first time we had met someone in person since the beginning of the pandemic. The person really enjoyed the tour and especially liked the artwork around the building.
Other than that, we received calls this week about ants, roaches, and even some mice. Problems about pests from last week got solved this week, so that was a success.
Today we went to Mount St Bruno National Park and ran for 10 miles. It was so nice to get out after being in the office all week.
We participated in zone conference this week.
Also, my mom asked me to share a tag photo and to answer the question, "Why the badge?" Here you go...
I'm serving a mission because the work of God is the most important thing happening in the world today. I know this is what He wants me to be doing. It's also just lots of fun too and exciting. Serving a mission is like fulfilling the childhood wish to go to Hogwarts, be an Avenger, or be a Jedi except the power isn't from a wand or a robotic suit or armor. It is the literal power of God to make His will happen.- Elder Kyle Pinkney July 2020
This week, the youth of the Mount Vernon Stake (my home stake) participated in a virtual Youth Conference. I got to share a short pre-recorded message on the theme of the conference, "Go and Do".
