Mission Office/Montreal- Week 20

The Sunday School lesson was pretty good, we each had 5-7ish minutes and I think I was the only one who bothered to stick to that. In any case, it has just been really cool to see how Vivian has been preparing to enter the temple because she understands that baptism was not the end.

I signed leases for two new apartments this week which was weird because we still have lots empty just none of them over in Ottawa. Two of the places we had over there were condos and the market is hot so the owners sold the condos even though we were still living there and they just sent 60 day notice for us to leave. One of the new owners seemed set on moving in sooner so I had to remind this individual that we get a 60 day notice by law and so now they are staying in a hotel for two months.

We called some random old numbers left by past missionaries and we surprising were able to invite some people to come to the Mandarin branchs french class that they have. We are hoping they will make friends.

We did service at a food bank this week and part of the fun is you never know which other missionaries are going to show up too. This is my third time going and the first time I moved boxes around, the second time, I labelled cans of maple beans and this last time was throwing moldy melons into a large garbage can.

Elder Baird and I went to this place called Orange Julius and the architecture is the only positive thing about this place. I dont plan on going back. It was fun to try it though.
