Mount Royal/Mandarin South- Week 11
This week we had zone conference and it was pretty typical. I had told you I had to give a training on family history. Thankfully my time was last and by then everyone else (my companion and the sisters) had gone over on their presentation so I spoke for about 1 minute and then called it good.
Elder Rigby and I have been watching The Chosen. President and SIster Low talked about how they watched it and so they gave the whole mission permission to watch it on p-days. They are pretty short episodes though so they didn't last us more than two p-days.
The new housing coordinator called and asked what we would need in order to be in a trio. I remember having to give those calls and even though its a dead giveaway, what added more to it is that he said he would be by tomorrow to give us the things. I told you how New Brunswick was closing and all the missionaries there have to get integrated over here. I just wonder if President Low will have to put a non-mandarin speaker with us and then we would be covering two areas- a mandarin and a english one or something like that. I am pretty excited at the possibility of being in a trio.. I just wonder what it is like and of course I have heard all sorts of opinions.
Probably one of the most frequently asked questions I get after my name and where I am from is how are even doing missionary work during a pandemic.
