Mount Royal/Mandarin South- Week 12
Dear Blog,
You are all great and wonderful. I think it is so kind of you that you would take the time to read my blog. I did not cut my hair. I will have to consider some alternative solutions.
We got lots of snow here. The days go by so quick and yet a week takes forever.
This week is transfer week and starting tomorrow, I'll be in a trio. Elder Rigby and I will be serving with Elder Wang. That puts me at 10 companions so far. Many of the Atlantic Providences are closing their bounders to non-residents, so the mission is closing down areas and sending those missionaries to other areas in the mission. I knew last week that we were going to be in a trio and I wondered whether our new companion would speak Mandarin or not. I thought that maybe we would have to cover two areas- an English-speaking and a Mandarin-speaking. Elder Wang does speak Mandarin. There used to be two sets of Elders in the Mandarin branch, now it will just be our trio.
We volunteered at a food bank this week, which is always good. We have also been shoveling lots of snow for people. Another highlight of my week was that we got Krispy Kreme donuts. My companion really likes the glazed donuts, but this time I got some specialty donuts.
