Mount Royal/Mandarin South- Week 15

Today, we were going to go to OLD PORT, Montreal which basically the Old Town, Alexandria here. We were going to go with Katherine, a recent convert named Dora and another YSA member named Felix. We instead went by yourselves and checked out along the river and china town. We got pizza, bubble tea, and chinese pastries, it was a lot of fun.

The food bank we usually go to volunteer said they can not take an odd number, so we haven't been able to go since we are a trio.

I got candy from the young women, that was very kind of them. I will have to say thank you .

Every day is the same- just stay inside and call people.

We did have an interesting lesson this week. The person we were teaching had a question about the resurrection of Jesus Christ and what He looked like afterwards.  He asked if He was reincarnated.  I was able to use a doctrinal mastery scripture from Seminary- Luke 24:36-39

36 ¶ And as they thus spake, Jesus himself astood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, bPeace be unto you.

37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.

38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do athoughts arise in your hearts?

39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: ahandle me, and see; for a bspirit hath not cflesh and bones, as ye dsee me have.

He responded that he has been asking that question for a while and no one has been able to explain they why I/we did.  It was a nice experience.
