Mount Royal/Mandarin South- Week 10
This week I got to do an virtual exchange with Elder Laigo and also Elder Brown my past companion. It was a nice change to the usual routine.
This coming week I have to give a presentation on using family histroy in missionary work, like posting a family history ad on facebook as a way to meet new people. I have to give this presentation at zone conference on Friday and I don't have a clue how to do a thing. Recently, the ancestry app got approved so I will likely just download it and see if there is anything I can explain about it I guess.
This week we worked on making a violin video to post on facebook. It was pretty fun but really hard to edit on a phone. I am playing amazing grace and hallelujah. We filmed on top on mount royal and people kept stopping and pulling out their phones to film or take a picture and then quickly walked away. It felt pretty strange. On young man in a multicolored checkerboard sweater and pink hair down to his shoulders stopped and said - quite genuiely "that was beautiful" and then kept walking.
